Erica & Michael - Our Wedding Story
< >Nearby Hotels
Since some of you are traveling in from out of state, or might not feel up to driving back to Atlanta once the “party” is over we have compiled a listing of hotels in the general vicinity.
Wedding Registry
Since the invitations went out, many people have started to ask where we were registered. We figured we would add a post here so everything was located in one central spot.
Invitations are In
We picked up the invitations from the printer this weekend, and have spent the last few nights packing envelopes. We are very happy with the way they turned out, and would like to thank everyone that had a hand in making them happen! We are doing our best to get them in the mail early next week.
The Lake House
Since the venue we selected was in Lakemont, GA on Lake Rabun, about an hour and a half from our home, we have been looking for a house to stay at a few days before the wedding (while we set up) and of course on our wedding night. We are pleased to say, we found the PERFECT house right on the lake!
The Venue
Once the initial shock, hype, and overall giddiness of getting engaged began to settle down, we quickly realized that we had to start planning. After thinking long and hard about the date (which changed several times), we decided we didn’t want to wait until next year to “begin our life together”.
Her Ring
I had been looking at rings for a while, without her knowing of course, and it was getting to a point where they all were beginning to look the same… that is, until I saw this ring.
